Welcome Annette's Quilts "Build-A-Quilt" page! Here we will craft a handmade quilt to your specifications. Annette's Quilts offers custom quilts in three main categories: SMALL, MEDIUM AND LARGE (BED-SIZED). The bed-sized quilts are further sized for twin, full, queen and king sized beds.

We have also included a fourth category, ACCESSORIES. Accessories include door and wall decorations, pillows and pillow covers to match your quilts, even colorful quilted potholders! More detail can be found in section four below.

(Note: All sizes are approximate only, and can vary by an inch or two. The exact finished size is dictated by the design and size of fabric squares.)

SECTION ONE, SMALL QUILTS:

Our small rectangular quilts are approximately 20 inches wide by 28 inches long. Some patters work best with a square quilt; Small square quilts are approximately 24 inches by 24 inches. Small quilts are ideal for wall hangings, adding rich texture and color to the decor of your home. We also use small quilts as luxurious dining room table adornments and buffet table runners.

First, in the text box below, choose your theme. A theme might be winter, summer, spring, fall, harvest, gardening, floral, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, or something more specific and nontraditional like golf, Americana, Soccer, etc.

Then, in the next box, choose your Color Scheme. In some cases this will be unnecessary as the theme will dictate the general color theme. For example, a Valentine's Day theme would naturally be crafted in shades of red and pink. (If for some reason you'd like green hearts, just tell us so!) A gardening theme might be in greens and browns. Otherwise enter a general color scheme, such as greens and blues, earth tones, pastels, Southwestern, Victorian, early American, etc.

Finally, Add the quilt to your shopping cart. When you go to checkout, you will be given the opportunity to add more detailed instructions if necessary. You may also use the form on the Ordering and Contact Information Page to submit more detailed instructions after you place your order.

SMALL QUILTS: $65

SECTION TWO, MEDIUM QUILTS:

Our medium sized quilts are approximately 42 inches wide by 60 inches long. Medium quilts are great for large wall hangings, adding warm texture to the walls of your home. Medium quilts also make cozy lap quilts, and add a luxurious look when folded over the back of your couch or favorite chair when not in use. Medium quilts are also ideally sized for baby's crib, or make a cherished "security blanket" for a small child.

Our large sized quilts are for use on beds. We can make your quilt for use on one of four sizes of beds - Twin, Full, Queen and King.

SECTION FOUR, ACCESSORIES:

One of the advantages to ordering a unique, custom made quilt is the opportunity it affords you to accessorize it with matching pillows, table-runners, throw quilts, etc.

"Accessories" include the following items:

Pillows, table runners, wall and door decorations. Accessories can be ordered to compliment a quilt purchased here, or alone to brighten up any room.

First, scroll down until you find the type of accesory you would like - pillow, table runner, or wall/door decoration. Then, in the text box, choose your theme. A theme might be winter, summer, spring, fall, harvest, gardening, floral, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc. If the accessory is intended to compliment a quilt that you are ordering, simply indicate that in the Theme box.
